Imagine running a team of
huskies on snow in the summer! This unique combination of three thrilling
activities creates an unforgettable experience for all. Helicopter flight
seeing, a glacier landing, and a dog sled ride make this one of Alaska’s most
popular tours. Breathtaking views of Resurrection Bay and glacier-carved
mountains unfold to this unspoiled wilderness home of mountain goats, moose, and
eagles that may be spotted along the way as you near your destination - Godwin
Glacier.
On the glacier, over 80 Alaskan husky dogs wait to share an essential part of
Alaskan culture - dog mushing. An experienced guide will explain the historical
significance of the famous Iditarod Sled Dog Trail; you will hear unique
accounts of their own Iditarod races and back country experiences. Feel the
excitement as the team is hooked up, then you're off across the snow field. The
lure of the trail and the thrill of driving a dog team will create the ultimate
experience of a lifetime.
Preparing for your Tour:
We ask that you be at the airport 1/2 hour prior to departure time for a gear
check and safety briefing. You will depart by Helicopter for Godwin Glacier on
the hour.
We can also pick up and drop off around town at various locations 15 minutes
prior to the 30 Minute Airport Check in. (Please let us know ahead of time so we
know to pick you up.)

We have the necessary glacier wear including rain gear and waterproof
over-booties. We also have hats, gloves, sunglasses, and sunscreen for client
use if needed. We invite guests to bring their own gear if they choose but it's
not necessary.
Dress in layers, you can always remove excess clothing.
